Objectives:

- Enhance and grow my world view and international perspective

- Learn and gain an understanding of different types of education systems that differ from the American tradition

-Step out of my comfort zone and practice my adaptability to different situations

- Gain new skills that I can bring back to my classroom in the United States

- Learn about and immerse myself into a culture I have never experienced before
I have always loved to travel, so for me, it only made sense to spend part of my time student teaching in a different culture. Through this experience, I hope to expand my knowledge, perspective, comfort zone, and appreciation of other cultures while abroad in New Zealand. I cannot wait to experience the unique landscapes, cuisines, cultures, and educational ideals
